INTRODUCTION

Every child is endowed with a unique set of attributes and abilities, which need to be nurtured excellently so that they blossom . Therefore, every child deserves an educational system that fosters academic excellence and all round development, and ensures their complete well being. Inspired by these tenets, we have moved forward to establish IQRA GLOBAL SCHOOL (IGS) which works under EduHealth FOUNDATION, Patna.

The mission of IGS is to provide the best quality education to its students transforming them in such a way that they are physically fit, mentally resilient,morally strong and spiritually sound. We believe that these are the pre-conditions for any child’s all round growth. Hence a holistic approach is the key to teaching and learning experience. Primary Section:

The Primary School Programme encourages inquiry and exploration, children’s competence in various skills-reading, writing, listening, speaking, problem-solving, observation, measurement and use of information and communication technology. The highly developing toddler brain is stimulated through exploratory and hands-on activities, which can develop cognition language and psychomotor skills. They begin to appreciate the importance of education by remaining interested through the flexible, thought stimulating lessons. They are made aware of their own potentials and learn how to explore and exploit in the right directed thus moving away from vulnerability to independence.

Activity based Learning and Intellectual Development:

Kids are terrific learners, with an amazing amount of energy and eagerness to try new things. Everything they do, they do with greater vigor and enthusiasm. Accordingly, our classroom and lesson plans for kids are packed with activities to encourage questions, confidence, interaction and most of all, discovery. Using activity oriented learning methods, we give children the all the possible opportunities to experiment with ideas and have new experiences.

Our specially designed curriculum focuses on the child’s five senses( sight, hearing, touch, smell and taste), the skills of memory, observations, problem solving, logical thinking and develop a scientific attitude and a sense of curiosity ensuring intellectual development of the children.
